Waverly Wonderland!



Saturday's the big day! From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., join us for the Waverly Wonderland holiday celebration!

The festivities begin at 9 a.m. with special holiday breakfasts and a visit from Santa at these Main Street restaurants (call for reservations):

  • Thir-Tea First Street Cafe and Tearoom, 410-889-7112
  • Waverly Grill, 410-889-6400
  • Darker Than Blue Cafe, 443-872-4468

After breakfast, Santa will be available for FREE photos in his horse and buggy from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

While you shop, enjoy live music and check out the winners of the Waverly Main Street holiday window decorating contest.

Light Up the Night on Waverly Main Street



Get in the holiday spirit! On Friday, December 5, Waverly Main Street will kick off its holiday shopping season with a tree-lighting at 7 p.m. at 33rd Street and Greenmount Avenue. Join us for hot chocolate and carols as we light up the night on Waverly Main Street.

Then come back on Saturday, December 13 for the Waverly Wonderland celebration, featuring:

  • Breakfast with Santa from 9-11 a.m.
  • FREE photos with Santa in his horse-drawn buggy from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Live music from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. as you do your holiday shopping

It's more important than ever this year to shop local and keep our neighborhood commercial areas strong. See you on Waverly Main Street!

Rise and Sweep on Saturday


With the weather cooling, it's the perfect time of year to spruce up Waverly Main Street for the upcoming holiday shopping season!
Join us on Saturday, October 18 for Rise and Sweep cleanup. Volunteers will meet for refreshments at St. John's church (3009 Greenmount Avenue) at 7:30 a.m. for refreshments, followed by the street cleanup until noon. Relax after your hard work with a barbecue back at St. John's at 12 p.m.
